There are many reasons why couples decide to renew their vows, each very personal and each very different. Some will mark a special, significant anniversary, with a renewal of vows, some to mark an important date for the couple and some, who simply wish for the wedding, that for any number of reasons, they couldn’t have on their wedding day. But I cannot think of a better reason to renew the marriage vows, than to celebrate the rediscovery of love and the reaffirming of the commitment that each partner has made to each other.

The difference between a marriage ceremony and a renewing of vows, is the story has so much more to tell? The service I will deliver, will reflect the past, the present and the future and celebrate what has been, what is now and what is still to come. Reliving past adventures and rejoicing in new horizons still to reach.

It is a time for looking forward and embracing what is still to come, but also remembering what has gone before and knowing, that all of your family and friends, old and new, will be there to celebrate with you, as you continue your adventure together.
