Where to begin; Phil was recommended to us at the last minute by Joe and Peter from Merrimu Reception. Seeing as they knew a lot of people in the wedding industry we went along and booked Phil probably about 2 weeks prior to our wedding.
My wife had phoned Phil to organize everything, when she had finished the phone call she turned to me and said “I loved his personality babe, he seems pretty down to earth and would be perfect for the wedding” AND requested we get straight to business and send wedding details. After a few phone calls we met with Phil probably a week before the wedding or so and LOVED his enthusiasm about weddings, he was just as excited as we were about getting married. He is very professional and yet so down to earth at the same time, we got to know each other at our meeting and discussed in depth how the program will run etc. After the planning was done he smiled brightly and said to us, its “The Don & Contessa” at first we were puzzled to what he meant and he then explained the meanings about our names.
On the night of our wedding, Phil ran the night so perfectly that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. With my wife being pregnant at the time, he was constantly checking up on her and I. We couldn’t have picked a better MC to run our night. He was so good that both of our families complimented on the great job Phil had done for us, and to be honest our reception wouldn’t have run as perfectly as it did without Phil :). He had interacted with the DJ, the reception and our families that he looked liked a guest.
So thank you soooo much Phil for celebrating our wedding day with us, you were such great company and it was a PLEASURE doing business with you 🙂
